I too have memories of Lynne from the 70s. We met in Nottingham University in the Common Room for those not in hall. We both took car loads to Shelton Mallet Festival in 1970, and she in her Morris Minor took a car load of us to the little known Weeley Festival in 1971. After Uni we used to meet up at the Barley Mow in Englefield Green for drinks and darts around 72/73, sometimes with my future wife. We then lost touch, but she left me with such a clear picture and persona impression that I had no problem recognising her at Chrissi Gaul’s funeral in Frimly in 2016 after 43 years. Turns out my wife and Chrissi were at college together, I worked with Chrissi 70 to 73 and Lynne worked with her later on but the connections were not made at the time, small world! I was so pleased to re meet her. I have a lasting memory of her broad happy smile and cheerful friendly personality. Unfortunately I cannot make the funeral due to an important medical appointment. Thinking of you all. Hugh (Huff).
